For those of you who saw Etta and Gable's coats at playdate this Sunday (Moose had one too)...they are $29.99 at PetSmart. I bought the xxl sizes for both of my little lovers so they would be long enough...they need to be modified so they fit snug enough since the hounds are so svelte but I did that with sticky velcro. Jo Anne had a good idea about shortening the strap on the bottom so it would not have so much excess material. They are nice and warm and even have reflective strips on them ...

I have a black futton mattress, that I have used for a dog bed.

It anyone wants this, let me know.

It is about 4.5 by 3 feet folded in half.

No cover for it, but you can use a throw on top or sew a slip cover.

I am sure that even 2 small greys can share this bed.

this is an extra bed, that my greyhound has not used for a while,

I rather another fellow greyhound get it, if they can put some use into it.

my email is

Aside from tennis balls, he loves the oversized stuffed octopus that we purchased from the NE Humane Society gift shop. It has a squeeker (not a high-pitched drive you crazy squeeker) and he 's it. He likes to play fetch or tug of war (I always win) and sometimes he uses it as a pillow.

For those of you asking at play day (and anyone else) here's where Laura got Hoss' equestrian looking dog coat:

http://www.doversaddlery.com/product.asp?pn=X1-24463&idu=1AB4FC5RO21R&ids=339495082&bhcd2=1227549810

They cover the flanks without hindering bodily functions for the boys (or girls). They're also reasonably priced.

Hey all, if anyone would recommend a place to get cool martingale collars. I love my Premier martingale that I got at the humane society and Dermit will always have one of those for his walks, but I was also thinking about getting him something with a little pizzazz or something.
